If you want to take care of your kids? Jump rope!

They’ll thank you for it when they start to show the criss-cross!

You should start this with your kids in mind and see if you like the results. And while you’re at it, jumping rope is not only good for the body, but also their self-esteem and their ability to do things for themselves later in life! If someone is constantly told their bodies don't look good, how are they going to feel about themselves later?

You’ll be saving money! Doing these things doesn’t cost anything, but it will save a ton! You’ll have more time to spend on them and more time when you’re not spending it on the gym. We make time for our kids by going to their activities, making time for them to do their homework, having them over and doing stuff with them. We save time by not commuting two and a half hours, we save money on things like gas, train passes, etc.

And if people are honest, kids don’t really need that much “free time” anyway. You don’t have to stay at a gym. Some people like sticking to the routine of the gym, but that’s not going to work for everyone. If you do stay in that routine, you’ll probably be able to get more done.

If you go out and have a jump rope workout in the park, you’ll come back feeling like your time and money were well spent. You’ll be doing a service for your kids. Kids will thank you down the line when they’re older. A lot of times, they don’t even feel like something is wrong until they’re older or they’re away and on their own. They just don't want to be embarrassed by their non rope jumping parents.
